The Foods You SHOULD be Eating! (How to Lose Weight in 2 Weeks, Part II)

This is Part 2 of ‘How to Lose Weight in 2 Weeks’. If you haven’t yet watched the first video, do please check it out.

So, now you have cleared your cupboards of some of the foods that cause inflammation, bloating, gastrointestinal problems and body fat storage, its time to go shopping!

The BEST foods to help you on your fat loss journey aren’t magic potions, instead they are pretty simple.

1: Water. Staying hydrated is vital when trying to lose weight. Drink either pure water, or liven it up a bit by adding fresh fruit pieces, cucumber, mint or your own combination of healthy ingredients.

2: Fermented Foods. Sauerkraut and Kimchee help to increase your friendly bacteria. Ditch those sugary ‘Probiotic’ Yogurt drinks and replace with wholesome fermented vegetables! These are HUNDREDS of times more potent than most commercial probiotic drinks out there and without the added sugar and poor quality dairy!

3: Green Smoothies. At least 2 green vegetables, a little fruit if necessary, and water or coconut water/milk and blend! Simple. The top greens to use include (but are not limited to): Kale, Spinach, Celery, Cucumber and Romaine Lettuce. If you need to use some fruit I would stick with a little Green Apple or Pear. You can also use Avocado for extra creaminess and fibre!

4: Chicken Bone Broth. A nutrient dense food that everyone should use. Its great for your joints and skin quality, helps calm and heal the digestive system and gives lots and lots of minerals! Why pay for collagen infused beauty products when you can get it right here (and much more of it).

5: Fibre (or Fiber if you are in the US). Chia seeds are a great way to increase your fibre intake and they also pack in lots of minerals, vitamins and some protein too. You can add these to your green smoothie!

So, these are my top 5 foods to add to your diet.

As another free gift for you I have put together a simple shopping list that you can download to your phone or tablet. Stick to these foods when you go shopping (or order from your online grocer) and you can’t fail!
